The Library challenges you to plant a tree or garden, or help clean a beach or local trail. Take a picture of your experience and submit it by April 22 for a change to win a prize. Pictures will be displayed all week! Ages 5-8.

Learn about Earth Day, including opportunities to clean trails and beaches and ways to repurpose items and conserve water. Plant a seed and take home your own seeded plant! It’s fun for the whole family!

Read to AchieveLakers Reading Challenge presented by Jack in the Box (grades 1-5).

Students who complete the Reading Challenge will receive a Lakers certificate of completion, Jack in the Box coupon and prize, and be entered into a drawing for Lakers tickets. Space limited to first 50 students for each grade. In-person registration required at the Children’s Desk.
