On August 5, 2014, Covina Police Personnel and City Officials got together with several Covina neighborhoods to celebrate the 31st Annual National Night Out.

The Dorje Chang Buddha Cultural and Art Museum located on the 100 block of E. School Street opened their doors to the community and offered free tours of their beautiful venue, and served snacks and refreshments outside. 14 other locations hosted events, including Ice Cream Socials, BBQ's, and Pot Luck events.
