During the months of April, May, and June 2012, the City of Covina will be hosting a number of events to promote environmental sustainability and awareness.  Help us celebrate the earth and welcome spring.

Public Works Open House, Public Works Yard, 534 N Barranca Ave. 11:00AM-2:00 PM

Come visit the Public Works Yard and learn how the City of Covina keeps its streets, sewers, and water infrastructure working. Activities for kids, displays, and workshops. Free compost and paper shredding! Bring your bicycle for a FREE tune-up by the Pomona Valley Bicycle Coalition!

MISSION STATEMENT

PWBigger1_copy_300x280To promote the economic vitality and protect the health, safety and welfare of the people of Covina by developing and operating safe, efficient, and high-quality infrastructure systems and public services.

The Public Works Department is comprised of six divisions: Administration, Facilities Maintenance, Development Services, Equipment Maintenance, Street & Sewer Maintenance, and Water Utility.

Covina Water  Utility customers can drop off their payments at the City Yard.  A dropbox is available at the entrance to the main building.
