The Wizard of Oz, the beloved American fairy tale is told by the Luce Puppet Company with a touch of the movie, a dash of the book, but most of all with a creatively staged interpretation all our own. Join Dorothy and her friends, Scarecrow, Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion as they travel to Oz and beyond! This timeless tale is told with traditional rod puppets.

Since 1993, Antonio Sacre has delighted audiences all over the world with his touching, humorous bilingual stories and children's books and tapes. Sacre's repertoire, tailored to his audience, includes his own stories of growing up bicultural in a Cuban and Irish-American household, as well as folktales from Mexico, Puerto Rico and Cuba.

 
Children’s Cookie Event with a Visit from Santa! PDF Print E-mail

cookie-decoratingSanta will join us once again for this annual event! Children will make wonderful cookies that include the use of royal icing and vibrantly colored candies. Then it’s off to see Santa (parents . . . please bring your cameras). Pre-registration is required. Limited to the first 100 children. Recommended for ages 5 – 12. Parent supervision is required at all times during the event. Call the Parks & Recreation Department at (626) 384 – 5340 to register.
