All family events are sponsored by The Friends of the Covina Public Library and are inspired by books, learning and entertainment! All events are on a first-come, first served basis. Participants may begin lining up outside the Community Room, no earlier than one-half hour prior to the performance or event.

Children’s Cookie Event with a Visit from Santa! PDF Print E-mail

cookie-decoratingSanta will join us once again for this annual event! Children will make wonderful cookies that include the use of royal icing and vibrantly colored candies. Then it’s off to see Santa (parents . . . please bring your cameras). Pre-registration is required. Limited to the first 100 children. Recommended for ages 5 – 12. Parent supervision is required at all times during the event. Call the Parks & Recreation Department at (626) 384 – 5340 to register.

Toddler Story Time (2-3 years)

Toddler storytime is perfect for children ages 2 - 3 years. This special storytime helps this age group further develop their verbal skills, their means of expression, and solidifies basic concepts -- letters, numbers, colors, shapes -- all in preparation for preschool. Pajama Story Time (2-5 years)
