 The Covina Public Library invites children who are learning to read to visit the children’s area and read to a loving, friendly dog. This unique program gives emerging and struggling readers the opportunity to read to a nonjudgmental listener, one who will accept the story exactly as it is read. All dogs have received certification from Therapy Dogs International, Delta Pet Partners, or Therapy Dogs Incorporated. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. To register, please call the Library at (626) 384-5312, or just drop in!
