On April 21st, Covina City Council members and staff celebrated the grocer’s grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.  The new ALDI Grocery Store is located at 1400 North Azusa Avenue, Covina with store hours 9AM-9PM. 
The City is excited to continue to work with community members in an effort to identify, fund, purchase, design and construct the much needed Community & Senior Center. As we continue our assessment of the Covina Community & Senior Center Project, we have developed a "Frequently Asked Questions" list from those questions posed during the past three Community Workshops. The City of Covina’s “Bike Hub” located in the Covina Metrolink Station parking lot will open for business on May 19, 2016 starting at 7:30 AM. The “Bike Hub” is a brand new amenity offered by the City of Covina and provides a securely controlled environment for commuters to store their bicycles while they are traveling on the transit system. The “Bike Hub” can hold up to 40 bicycles and those who use the facility will also have access to an on-site restroom.    
On Thursday May 19, 2016 between the hours of 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM, the City of Covina, in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Animal and Control, will be hosting a low cost  Vaccination and Licensing Clinic for cats and dogs. The clinic will be held in the hockey rink area of Covina City Park located at 301 N. 4th Avenue in the City of Covina. There will be a licensed veterinarian on site during the clinic along with personnel from the Los Angeles County Department of Animal and Control to help facilitate any licensing needs.
